Wide ceremony shot under a tropical floral arch, wedding party and guests, Punta Cana resort — Babula Shots wedding photographer

Wedding Photographer Punta Cana

You chose Punta Cana for its turquoise water, endless white sand, and world-class resorts. We deliver wedding photos as epic as your venue — cinematic, editorial, and completely yours.

What to Expect

Every detail — from arrival to delivery — is designed so you can actually enjoy the process.

Resort Knowledge

We photograph regularly at Hard Rock Punta Cana, Sanctuary Cap Cana, Excellence El Carmen, and Barceló Bávaro. We know exactly where the light falls, which corners to avoid, and which paths lead to the most stunning frames.

Golden Hour at 5:40 PM

Punta Cana golden hour averages 5:40–6:20 PM year-round. We schedule your ceremony portraits and beach shots around this window so every image has the warm, cinematic light you see in our portfolio.

Cinematic Editorial Style

We direct you naturally — not stiff posed shots. Our style is candid-editorial: real moments, real emotion, with intentional composition. The result feels like a magazine spread, not a snapshot.

The morning began on opposite sides of the resort — Brandon getting dressed with his groomsmen over drinks with an ocean view, Sheryl surrounded by her bridesmaids in matching lavender robes as her hair and dress came together piece by piece.

Part 2 of 3

That afternoon, under a tropical floral arch, Sheryl and Brandon exchanged vows in front of family and friends. The celebration carried into the evening with a reception inside the resort — toasts, a first dance, and a dance floor that didn't stop until Brandon took his final bow.

The next day, the celebration moved to the water — family and friends aboard a boat off the Punta Cana coast, music and laughter carrying over the waves. It closed with Sheryl back in her gown one last time, walking into the sea with Brandon for a trash-the-dress session neither of them will forget.

FAQ — Punta Cana

Can you photograph at Hard Rock Punta Cana?
Yes. We work at Hard Rock Punta Cana regularly and are familiar with their photo permits, coordinator requirements, and the best spots on the property — including Starfish Beach, the main pool, and the Fiesta Americana chapel.
What is the best time of year for a beach wedding in Punta Cana?
November through April is the dry season and gives consistently soft, golden light. December through March is peak season with minimal rain risk. May to October is rainy season — weddings still happen and can be beautiful, but we always prepare a weather contingency.
Do you travel to Bávaro or Cap Cana as well?
Yes — the Punta Cana, Bávaro, and Cap Cana corridor is our primary Punta Cana zone. Travel within this area is included in your package. We also cover Macao Beach, El Cortecito, and resorts along the Coconut Coast at no extra charge.
How long after the wedding do we receive the photos?
You receive a quick preview gallery (20–30 selects) within 72 hours so you can share right away. The full edited gallery is delivered within the timeframe agreed in your contract, depending on coverage length. Rush delivery is available for an additional fee.
Is a deposit required to hold our wedding date in Punta Cana?
Yes — we require a deposit to formally hold your date. This removes the date from availability and is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled. The remaining balance is due according to the payment schedule in your contract.
Do you cover multi-day weddings with a boat party or trash-the-dress session?
Yes. A common format is ceremony and getting-ready coverage on day one, then a boat party with a trash-the-dress session in the water on day two. This fits the Luxury Full Day package — message us with your two-day plan for an exact quote.
Do you help organize a full hotel wedding with a planner?
Yes — we work alongside your wedding planner on fully organized hotel weddings. Because decor, venue coordination, dinner, the night party, and hotel stay are all real costs that vary by resort, this is always a custom quote, not a fixed package price.
